Bankruptcy

Home Chapter 7 Chapter 13

FIRST OF ALL, DO NOT LET YOURSELF BE FOOLED BY ANYONE WHO TELLS YOU THAT YOU ARE NOT FILING A "REAL" BANKRUPTCY, THAT THIS IS ONLY DEBT RELIEF.

Filing of either a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 petition is the filing of a Bankruptcy. Someone who tells you that it is not is just plain lying to you.

Bankruptcy is a serious business and you owe it to yourself to get all the facts.

First of all, can Bankruptcy be avoided? If you can avoid filing, you should.

On the other hand there are plenty of instances where Bankruptcy is the most logical course for someone to take.

In its various forms you may be able to repay all of your creditors over time, some of them over time, all of them in part over time, or none of them.

Whether any Bankruptcy is right for you and if so whether it should be a Chapter 7 or a Chapter 13 is only a decision you can make for yourself. What we do is offer a free no pressure consultation that gives you enough information to make that decision.

Every situation is unique but it is often possible to keep your home and car while filing Bankruptcy.
